 Now in Colombia, Nautilus, the first special web browser made particularly for kids between 4 and 11 years of age that allows them to use the Internet in a safe and fun way.

With Nautilus, kids have the perfect device to make homework amusing and easier and to help them learn about general topics. Scholar texts of all topics for all grades are developed with the support of the Merani Fundation, pioneer in conceptual methodology. Their objective is to offer adequate and efficient use of the Internet, as well as to provide a dynamic and original guide in order to promote the development of skills and abilities and overcome any challenges that the learning process may bring. 

Nautilus is also a huge source of fun. It includes over 180 video games, and a social network which permits the children to chat in a secure environment.  There are other features such as wikinautilus, a free, web-based encyclopedia, designed especially for children, and a kid’s library, a place where all the traditional childhood stories can be found.  Every aspect of Nautilus has been created with a fantastic design; navigation is related to submarine travel, and the view of the browser is that of an ocean full of color and simple explanations. It also has workshops, evaluations, magazines, newspapers and the Institute for Investigation.

This navigation method also has advantages for parents, taking into account that kids are going to use a navigation program, it is important that they use one which is 100% safe in every way, with infinity of entertainment options and contents intended specifically for them. +Contents and educational technology 

This Project was born in Parquesoft, a technological software park in Colombia; where an engineer and a lawyer made the decision to innovate the education method in Colombia while guaranteeing the security of the Internet for children.  

Nautilus constitutes an innovation in Latinamerica, due to the originality and social responsibility of the concept, the contents, the navigation and the interaction with other serious WebSites.
