+ First cultural festival of videogames in Colombia

(Bogota, Colombia) – March, 2009 - From march the 6th to the 8th the first cultural festival of videogames will be carried out, the Copa Milo eFest, conceived, designed and organized for all the gamer community in Colombia.  

The main event of the first Copa Milo eFest  will be the international tournament of KODE5 for professional players, that will be made out simultaneously with free tournaments for amateurs players, in the Xbox360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii platforms.

The Santafé shopping Mall is the place chosen for the Copa Milo eFest 

The chosen place for the first Copa Milo eFest is the Platinum Auditory of the Santafé shopping mall, a place with capacity for 600 people, is located strategically to offer the maximum comfort to the assistants.  There, for three days, will take place  the Copa Milo eFest the greater competence around the videogames never saw before in Colombia, which will receive to the competitive teams, its families, friends and all the people that desire to support them.  

+The KODE5 arrives Colombia!  

Kode 5 is the main event of this first Copa Milo eFest 

KODE5 is one of the biggest tournaments in the world of videogames. Counter Strike 1,6 players are happy because for the first time KODE 5 comes to Colombia to choose the best players and to carry them to the big final in Moscow, Russia, where they will receive 65 thousand dollars and other prizes.  

The winners of the KODE5 Colombia will travel in the first instance to Lima, Peru, to fight for a spot to the international Final in Russia, that will take place in may the 9th    

What is Counter Strike?  

This videogame was born in 1999, and since then, have had several updatings and different versions.  For this occasion will be used the Counter Strike 1,6, published in September of 2003, and despite its antiquity, is one of the favorite titles of millions of gamers everywhere.  

It is an action game, where two teams fight, one blue and the other one red.  Each one it has different objectives according to the map, and depends on the ability of each one of the participants to win in the rounds.  

For the tournament KODE5, that does part of the First Cultural Festival of Videogames Copa Milo eFest, the modality chosen was Deathmatch or clash among teams by points.  

Because of the international regulation of KODE5, the gamers must be older than 18 years old to participate.
